Kids Corner Attendant

About the role
The Kids Corner Attendant will supervise and coordinate activities for children in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This position works evenings and weekends, ensuring children have positive social interactions while parents are on site.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise children during designated shifts, maintaining a secure and non‑threatening atmosphere.
- Organize and lead age‑appropriate games and activities.
- Ensure the area is clean, tidy, and well‑stocked with supplies.
- Monitor children’s behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain safety.
- Communicate with parents about their children’s experience and any concerns.
Required profile
- Strong commitment to the mission of the Belton Parks & Recreation Department.
- Ability to work flexible evening and weekend hours.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
- Reliability and punctuality.
