Kitchen Equipment Technician – Commercial Kitchens

About the role

The Kitchen Equipment Technician will ensure that all commercial kitchen appliances operate safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing a range of equipment in hospitality and catering environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install new ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers and gas appliances.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical, mechanical and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Document service activities and maintain equipment records.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, HVAC or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, gas, refrigeration and mechanical systems.
• Proven troubleshooting and preventive‑maintenance skills.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
