Knowledge and Research Quality Consultant (Remote)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Knowledge and Research Quality Consultant to lead the development and implementation of a Knowledge and Research Approach for its Health Programme. The role will support the creation of robust evidence bases, improve knowledge access for country offices, and integrate new technologies such as AI into evidence‑gathering processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and institutionalisation of a Knowledge and Research Approach across Centres of Excellence and country offices.
• Scope existing knowledge assets, including access to the TA Hub AI‑driven evidence search tool.
• Identify gaps and define new knowledge generation priorities aligned with UNICEF’s 2026‑2030 Strategic Plan.
• Develop mechanisms for feedback loops, evidence synthesis, and dissemination through webinars, policy papers, and other channels.
• Ensure systems coherence across sections and support the strategic vision for child health programming.

Required profile

• Proven experience in knowledge management, research, or health‑sector consultancy.
• Ability to work remotely while coordinating with multiple stakeholders across UNICEF offices.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to translate evidence into actionable guidance.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled evidence search platforms is advantageous.
