About the role
CABI is an international, inter‑governmental, not‑for‑profit organisation dedicated to improving lives through science and information. The Landscape Ecologist will support invasive species management and contribute to restoration and land‑use planning projects in Kenya.
Required profile
- PhD in restoration ecology, soil health, natural resource management, land‑use planning or a related field, with 3‑4 years post‑doctoral experience.
- Proven experience in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary project work, including participatory approaches and successful fundraising.
- Strong scientific publication record and ability to lead junior staff.
Required skills
- Quantitative and qualitative research methods with statistical analysis.
- Background in biological control of invasive alien plants.
- Project planning, technical and financial management.
