Lead Generator

About the role

The Lead Generator will focus on driving sales of Asset Based Finance (ABF) products for Absa Group Ltd. Working primarily with retail and business banking customers in Westlands, you will identify prospects, generate high‑quality leads and support customers through the account opening and loan approval process.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and follow up on quality ABF leads, converting them into sales.
• Cross‑sell other Absa Bank products and services to meet customer needs.
• Participate in product campaigns, clearly explaining terms and conditions to customers.
• Maintain accurate sales performance statistics for management reporting.
• Complete account opening documentation and conduct financial analysis for loan applications.
• Communicate loan approvals, advise customers on draw‑downs, and handle queries or complaints promptly.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Line Manager and collaborate with internal service teams.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks and Absa policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in sales or lead generation, preferably in banking or finance.
• Strong customer‑focus with the ability to identify and meet client needs.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while meeting sales targets and compliance standards.
