About the role
Egerton University seeks a Lecturer Grade 12 to join its Faculty of Law and deliver high‑quality instruction in Commercial Law. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and academic service within a vibrant university environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Commercial Law.
- Prepare and grade examinations, assignments, and other assessments.
- Supervise student research projects and theses.
- Maintain an active research agenda, publishing in refereed journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees.
Required profile
- PhD in Commercial Law from a recognised university (or a Master’s degree in Commercial Law).
- Minimum of three years of university‑level teaching experience.
- At least 24 publication points, with a minimum of 16 points from refereed journals.
- Registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.

- Educational testing.
