Legal & Cosec Director – Investment Banking (Gurgaon/Bangalore)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Legal & Cosec professional at the Assistant/Associate Director or Director level to drive growth of our legal and corporate secretarial services for financial‑services clients. Based in Gurgaon/Bangalore, you will combine sales leadership with deep domain expertise to expand our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Conduct market analysis to uncover new opportunities and monitor industry trends.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through superior service and communication.
• Lead Corporate Secretarial Services, ensuring entity management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
• Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients showcasing service capabilities.
• Engage with platform partners and manage platform‑related initiatives.
• Handle end‑to‑end client negotiations to ensure timely execution.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop collateral and run campaigns.
• Mentor teams, establish processes, and ensure high‑quality client support.
• Leverage AI and technology solutions, including Large Language Models, to enhance service delivery.

Required profile

• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote or flexible setting.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and legal AI tools for research, contract review, and document automation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Good knowledge of legal‑tech providers and ability to forge partnership strategies.
• CS qualification together with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent.
• Additional certifications in finance, business or marketing are a plus.
