Leisure and Mission Groups Specialist

About the role

ACTS Africa is looking for a dynamic Leisure and Mission Groups Specialist to design and deliver high‑end, transformative travel experiences across Sub‑Saharan Africa. Based in Limuru, Kenya, you will work closely with international clients, partners and suppliers to create bespoke safari and mission itineraries that exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client enquiries, build relationships and convert leads into bookings while maintaining high service standards.
• Design customised itineraries using travel management software, handling reservations, logistics and field support.
• Prepare comprehensive pre‑departure documentation and ensure smooth execution of trips.
• Negotiate rates, manage supplier contracts, audit invoices and monitor trip profitability.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to gather content and incorporate client feedback for continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in tourism or hospitality.
• Proven experience booking luxury safari lodges and hotels in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda, with familiarity of other Sub‑Saharan destinations.
• Strong understanding of international luxury traveller expectations and experience with short‑term mission trips.

Required skills

• Proficiency with travel management software.
