About the role

Oshwal Academy, a private international school in Nairobi delivering the British curriculum from pre‑school to Year 13, is seeking a senior‑level Librarian to join its dynamic team. The role blends library management with teaching‑related responsibilities, supporting the academic programme and contributing to a vibrant learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide library services that align with the British National Curriculum.
• Prepare and grade examinations, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
• Maintain classroom discipline and authority during instructional sessions.
• Conduct educational testing and assessment activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into lesson plans.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related subject.
• Minimum of four years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Senior‑level experience (approximately five years).
• Familiarity with the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
