Licensed Civil Engineer – Property Verification Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Licensed Civil Engineer to act as Nestadia’s independent technical verification authority in Kenya. The role involves confirming the existence and progress of real‑estate projects, capturing auditable evidence, and providing objective assessments that inform partnership decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections to verify property location, existence and development status.
• Capture geo‑tagged, timestamped photo and video evidence using Nestadia’s mobile tools.
• Validate construction specifications against developer documentation and assess milestones for off‑plan projects.
• Evaluate construction quality, identify defects, and flag issues requiring specialist review.
• Perform technical vetting of developers by reviewing past and current projects.
• Prepare clear verification reports, risk assessments and evidence packages for internal use.

Required profile

• Registered civil or structural engineer with experience in construction, site supervision or building inspection in Kenya.
• Familiarity with Kenyan building standards and the Nairobi development landscape.
• Ability to work independently and deliver objective findings, even under pressure.
• Proficient in English for reporting.
