About the role

We are seeking a qualified Litigation Advocate to join a distinguished law firm in Nairobi. The successful candidate will represent clients in court, manage complex disputes, and contribute to the firm’s reputation for excellence in legal services.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation before the High Court of Kenya.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice.
• Negotiate settlements and manage case timelines.
• Collaborate with senior partners and junior lawyers on case strategy.

Required profile

• Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years post‑admission experience in a busy law firm.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
• High integrity, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.

• Computer literacy.
