Loans & Collections Officer Internship (Potential Full‑Time)

About the role

This one‑month internship is designed to introduce candidates to the core functions of loan disbursement and collections within a fast‑growing financial services firm. Interns will work closely with the Branch Manager, gaining hands‑on experience in customer acquisition, loan processing and portfolio management, with the possibility of a full‑time position upon successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Support the achievement of monthly disbursement targets through daily marketing, field outreach and client onboarding.
• Assist in assessing and processing loan applications while clearly explaining product terms.
• Maintain high‑quality client relationships to encourage repeat business and portfolio growth.
• Contribute to team goals for new customers, disbursements, collection rates and overall portfolio performance.
• Promote ethical lending practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Help achieve high collection rates and minimise portfolio at risk through proactive follow‑up.

Required profile

• At least a Diploma in any discipline.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Interest in finance, lending and collections.
