Logistics and Warehousing Lead

About the role

Octavia Carbon, a pioneering Direct Air Capture company, is looking for a Logistics and Warehousing Lead to own the end‑to‑end flow of goods—from global procurement and overseas consolidation to customs clearance, final delivery and warehouse storage. The role ensures full visibility of inventory and costs through meticulous record‑keeping in the ERP system while supporting the company’s operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Procure and manage overseas warehousing, consolidation and forwarding services to guarantee customs clearance and timely delivery.
• Coordinate local and international shipment schedules and logistics services.
• Maintain accurate records of clearing, shipping activities and the Landed Cost Tracker module in the ERP.
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and proper inventory handling.
• Update the warehouse module in the ERP and manage inventory records.
• Maintain the payables module and procure inventory and services for various departments.
• Lead, develop and coach the procurement and logistics team.
• Engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders to keep shipments moving smoothly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in customs clearance and compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with ICMS systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven ability to coordinate heavy equipment transportation and installation.
• Deep understanding of warehouse operations and processes.
