LPG Operations Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

This role oversees the supply chain operations supporting Sun King's PAYG LPG business in Kenya. It covers vendor relationships, bulk LPG transport, inventory planning, and cylinder asset lifecycle management while ensuring safety, compliance and capital efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bulk LPG transportation, monitor real‑time flows, resolve bottlenecks and improve routing efficiency.
• Plan and replenish inventory of cylinders, cookstoves and accessories across warehouses and depots, maintaining safety stock and minimizing stock‑outs.
• Track deployed cylinder assets, drive working‑capital efficiency, oversee recertification and loss‑shrinkage governance.
• Ensure compliance with EPRA, KEBS and other regulatory standards for storage, transport and quality, and lead safety investigations.
• Maintain commercial relationships with LPG vendors, monitor credit terms, SLAs, conduct reconciliations and negotiate contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Finance, IT or related field.
• Experience in LPG, downstream oil & gas or FMCG distribution.
• Strong project‑management and process‑improvement capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Familiarity with energy regulatory bodies such as EPRA and KEBS.
