About the role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring bakery equipment and facilities operate safely, hygienically, and efficiently to minimise production downtime and maintain product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on bakery equipment and record all activities.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with production and quality teams.
- Maintain factory utilities such as electrical, water, compressed air, ventilation and perform minor building repairs.
Required profile
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work under pressure, including emergencies.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends or on‑call as required.
Required skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and lock‑out/tag‑out equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and GMP.
