Major Account Manager – Kenya

About the role

As a Major Account Manager based in Nairobi, you will be responsible for developing and onboarding new and existing enterprise customers across the East Africa region. You will leverage your network to identify opportunities, create business and account plans, and act as the primary liaison between customers and Fortinet’s internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with enterprise customers to understand business imperatives and IT drivers.
• Drive consultative sales of Fortinet’s cybersecurity and networking solutions, preparing proposals and tender responses.
• Coordinate resources such as system engineers, channel partners and specialist sales teams to maximise revenue within assigned accounts.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to demonstrate value and align Fortinet roadmaps with customer plans.
• Keep customers informed of product updates and help them mitigate risk through strategic planning.

Required profile

• Proven track record of enterprise sales in the hi‑tech sector, preferably cybersecurity or networking.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with strong attention to detail and a competitive drive.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong listening ability.
• Experience working across East Africa.
• Fluency in English.
