Management Accountant

About the role

You will support management in financial planning, performance management and decision‑making across the business. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial modelling and performance analysis while partnering with operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare periodic forecasts.
• Produce weekly, monthly and periodic management reports with actionable commentary.
• Develop financial models for strategic decisions, profitability analysis and investment appraisal.
• Analyse production costs, gross margins and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Partner with operational teams to translate financial analysis into performance improvement actions.
• Develop, monitor and report key financial and operational KPIs.
• Review capital expenditure proposals and conduct post‑investment reviews.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual management accounts and improve reporting quality.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Sage and other integrated business systems.
• Provide analysis for internal and external audits and support senior finance leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in management accounting, FP&A, cost accounting or financial analysis.
• Experience in an operationally intensive environment such as agriculture or manufacturing is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong financial modelling capability.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Sage is a plus.
