Marina Attendant / Fish Cleaner

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Marina Attendant / Fish Cleaner to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves providing professional fish cleaning services to marina patrons while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist marina guests, providing information about services and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep the marina clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Monitor marina and water activities to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide fish cleaning services on a first‑come, first‑serve basis, including scaling, gutting, filleting, and packaging.
• Dispose of fish waste properly and maintain a sanitary workstation.
• Interact courteously with patrons, answer inquiries, and ensure timely service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in fish cleaning, handling, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid passport (minimum 1‑year validity) and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance.
