Market Access Lead – Market Dynamics

About the role

PATH is seeking a hands‑on Market Access Lead to strengthen access to essential health products and improve public‑ and private‑sector supply chains. The role combines health‑science knowledge with analytical and strategic expertise to translate market insights into actionable implementation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze health product markets, supply chains and procurement systems to identify opportunities for improved access, affordability and sustainability.
• Develop and support public‑ and private‑sector supply‑chain strategies, including forecasting, procurement, inventory management, warehousing and distribution.
• Assist partners in strengthening procurement capacity and designing contingency or surge logistics plans.
• Translate technical and scientific information into practical business, market and implementation recommendations.
• Provide field‑level analysis and hands‑on technical support to partners, especially in maternal, newborn, child health and respiratory care.
• Prepare technical deliverables, reports, presentations and strategic recommendations for donors and health‑sector stakeholders.
• Oversee project implementation across multiple geographies, managing day‑to‑day activities of project staff and coordinating with implementing partners.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in business, supply‑chain management, public health or a related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical‑device, life‑sciences, manufacturing, distribution or healthcare sectors, preferably with exposure to consulting, government, NGO or global‑health work.
• Proven ability to conduct independent market analysis and develop supply‑chain strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and capacity to work with public and private stakeholders to implement solutions on the ground.
