Marketing Assistant (TVET Institute)

About the role

The Marketing Assistant will support marketing activities and campaigns within the TVET institute environment at Kenya Methodist University in Meru. The role is on‑site and requires a diploma in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, together with 1–2 years of relevant experience. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and collaboration skills are also essential for coordinating with faculty and external partners. Support includes assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, as well as preparing promotional materials and maintaining marketing records. Applications should be submitted in hard copy to the Director of the TVET Institute in Meru and electronically via the university’s HR email by 5 pm on 9 October 2026. The position offers an opportunity to gain experience in a university setting and contribute to the institute’s outreach efforts.
