Marketing & Communications Intern

About the role

ArtCaffe is hiring a full-time Marketing & Communications intern based in Westlands, Nairobi. The intern supports the Marketing team with day-to-day activities, campaign execution and coordination of materials and events across branches.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Marketing team with day-to-day marketing activities and campaign execution.
• Assist in coordinating the delivery of marketing and branding materials to branches, including dispatch and collection.
• Follow up with branches and suppliers on requests, timelines and deliveries.
• Assist with the organisation and coordination of events, promotions and brand activations.
• Support with supplier quotations, invoices and other marketing documentation.
• Maintain and update marketing trackers, timelines and activity lists, and flag delays or issues to the Marketing team.
• Provide general administrative, communication and coordination support to the Marketing team.

Learning & development

• Hands-on experience in marketing campaigns, events and brand activations.
• Learn how marketing is executed across multiple branches and customer touchpoints.
• Develop project coordination and campaign execution skills, and work with Operations, Procurement and Logistics teams.
• Receive guidance, mentorship and feedback from the Marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Marketing Communications or a related field.
• Recent graduate seeking practical experience.
• Previous internship or exposure to marketing, communications, events or brand activations is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive, dependable and able to follow up on tasks and work with different teams.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
