Marketing Manager – Nairobi

About the role

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that support the organization’s objectives. This full‑time position is based in Nairobi and involves overseeing advertising, promotional activities, and market research.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
• Conduct market research to determine requirements for existing and future products.
• Analyze customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
• Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
• Expand and develop marketing platforms, including social media.
• Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
• Determine and manage the marketing budget, delivering activities within agreed limits.
• Report on ROI and key performance metrics, and develop pricing strategies.
• Create marketing presentations and liaise with media and advertising partners.
• Collaborate with the sales function and monitor industry best practices.

Required profile

• Business or marketing‑related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in developing and managing comprehensive marketing strategies.
• Technical marketing skills and proven experience in customer and market research.
• Relevant product and industry knowledge, including digital marketing expertise.
• Experience with relevant marketing software applications.
