About the role
The Coast Water Works Development Agency is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to support the design, repair and maintenance of motor vehicles, plants and machinery used in water and sanitation infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Repairing and maintaining motor vehicles, plants and machinery.
- Carrying out repair work on motor vehicles and machinery.
- Inspecting motor vehicles and plants and recommending necessary repairs.
- Verifying required spare parts for motor vehicles and machinery and preparing valuation reports.
- Preparing motor vehicle and plant specifications.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Up to 36 months of relevant experience.
- Entry‑level qualification as indicated.
Required skills
- Equipment and tool maintenance.
- Engineering principles applied to water infrastructure.
- Mechanical drawings and specification preparation.
