Mechanical Engineer – IoT Device Enclosures

About the role

We are an IoT company focused on smart farming and maritime solutions. We need a Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver enclosures, mounting systems, and production‑ready parts that protect our electronics.

Key responsibilities

• Design plastic and sheet‑metal enclosures based on technical specifications and guide documents.
• Create 3D models and detailed drawings for CNC machining, injection moulding, and 3D printing.
• Define tolerances, fits, and assembly methods for both low‑volume prototypes and mass‑production runs.
• Collaborate closely with electronics engineers to ensure mechanical and electronic components integrate seamlessly.
• Manage design iterations from prototype through to manufacturing release.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career engineer willing to work hands‑on.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) for plastics and metals.
• Ability to prototype, test, and iterate quickly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or an equivalent CAD tool.
• Experience creating CNC‑ready, injection‑moulded, and 3D‑printed parts.
• Knowledge of IP‑rated enclosure design (a plus).
