Mechanical Engineer – Product Design & Development

About the role

The Engineering and Development Department is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of new products and optimise existing ones. You will work on a variety of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet functional, manufacturability and cost requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and develop new mechanical products from concept to production.
• Optimize existing designs to improve performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Create detailed 3‑D models, assemblies and mechanism designs using SolidWorks.
• Prepare production‑ready drawings and coordinate with manufacturing teams for sheet bending, laser cutting, machining, welding and other processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including packaging, electronics, heat‑transfer and automotive specialists.
• Document design decisions, maintain design files and ensure compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in mechanical product design and drafting.
• Strong theoretical background in at least one of the following: packaging mechanics, electronics, manufacturing technologies, or heat transfer.
• High verbal and written proficiency in English and Hebrew.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and think creatively.

Required skills

• SolidWorks for 3‑D modelling and analysis.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as sheet bending, laser cutting, machining and welding.
