Media Production Coordinator

About the role

The Media Production Coordinator supports the planning, coordination and delivery of audio‑visual and digital media projects that amplify AWF’s brand, communications and fundraising goals. Working within the Brand and Public Engagement team, the role ensures productions are executed on time, on budget and to the organisation’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end audio‑visual production processes, from pre‑production planning to post‑production delivery.
• Coordinate film, photography and live‑event productions, managing schedules, permits and internal alignment.
• Liaise with Field Communications and Country Program teams to facilitate story development and field‑based content gathering.
• Provide workflow and administrative support for external photographers, videographers, editors and vendors, tracking deliverables and feedback cycles.
• Edit long‑form video into short‑form, platform‑native formats (e.g., Reels, Shorts, TikTok) for digital and social channels.
• Assist with live and hybrid event production, including run‑of‑show documentation and post‑event content delivery.
• Maintain and tag the media asset bank, ensuring content is archived and accessible via the digital asset management system.

Required profile

• Execution‑focused, highly organized professional with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across communications, fundraising, creative and program teams.
• Experience managing production logistics, vendor relationships and delivery timelines.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and adapting content for various digital platforms.
