Medical Representative – CRM (Nairobi)

About the role

The Medical Representative will be the primary driver of customer interactions and sales performance for Novartis in Kenya. Acting as the face of the customer experience approach, you will build deep, value‑based relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and stakeholders to support ethical, compliant sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize high‑potential HCPs and stakeholders through data analysis to influence prescription decisions.
• Engage customers in value‑based conversations, both in‑person and virtually, to understand their challenges and opportunities.
• Personalise and orchestrate customer engagement journeys using preferred channels and available content.
• Develop and maintain relationships with opinion leaders and medical influencers at the territory level.
• Gather deep customer insights, translate feedback into actionable plans, and share insights with internal teams.
• Collaborate compliantly with cross‑functional teams to design solutions that address unmet patient needs.
• Act with integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in all interactions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare environment and prescription decision processes.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with HCPs and stakeholders.
• Commitment to ethical and compliant business practices.
