Member of Technical Staff - Research Engineering (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff in Research Engineering to join a leading Information Services organization. The role is fully remote and focuses on advancing AI research engineering within the Micro1 platform, delivering scalable solutions and optimizing infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and implement high‑performance research engineering solutions to improve AI model performance and scalability.
• Optimize existing research pipelines for computational efficiency and reduced latency in distributed environments.
• Collaborate with data‑science and engineering teams to transition research findings into production‑grade systems.
• Conduct performance benchmarking, identify bottlenecks, and guide architectural decisions.
• Document methodologies, experimental results, and technical specifications for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in machine‑learning systems, model optimization, and inference acceleration.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code for both research and production.
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows.
