About the role
The State Department for Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs, through the Kenya Social and Economic Inclusion Project (KSEIP II), is recruiting 280 mentors and 19 mentor supervisors across 16 sub-counties in 10 counties. - Mentor Supervisors: train and support mentors, supervise and monitor mentor-mentee interactions, collect and review mentor reports, run monthly supervision meetings, ensure adherence to ethical and child protection policies, liaise with programme staff and give feedback to improve mentorship.
Required profile
- Mentors: diploma or certificate in Social Work, Education, Psychology or a related field; experience with youth or vulnerable populations and poverty graduation programmes; good interpersonal and communication skills; clean ethical record.
- Mentor Supervisors: bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology or a related discipline; at least 1 year of experience in mentorship, youth or community work and poverty graduation programmes; knowledge of safeguarding, GESI and M&E.
