Merchandiser – Retail FMCG (5 openings)

About the role

We are looking for energetic Merchandisers to join our team in Nakuru. You will be responsible for ensuring our hair care and personal care products are attractively displayed and readily available across assigned retail outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement merchandising standards, promotions, and point‑of‑sale activities to maximise product visibility.
• Monitor shelf positioning and maintain compliance with brand guidelines.
• Track stock levels, report out‑of‑stock or damaged items, and support replenishment efforts.
• Promote sales by engaging with retailers, identifying customer needs, and suggesting placement improvements.
• Observe competitor activity, pricing, and promotions, and provide market feedback.
• Submit accurate daily or weekly activity reports.

Required profile

• Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising, FMCG, cosmetics, beauty or hair products.
• Previous field work in retail outlets is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently to meet targets.

Required skills

• Product merchandising and retail display knowledge.
• Stock monitoring and inventory awareness.
• Ability to analyse market trends and competitor actions.
