Midtail Associate – Seller Activation & Growth

About the role

The Midtail Associate will drive the onboarding and growth of newly acquired sellers on Jumia’s marketplace, ensuring they achieve their first sale within the first month and continue to thrive on the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the incubation phase for new sellers, guiding them to their first sale within 30 days.
• Oversee the Midtail seller segment, monitoring activation and retention metrics.
• Manage a team of Incubation Associates and Midtail account managers, setting clear KPIs.
• Promote Jumia growth tools such as Sponsored Products and Jumia Express to boost seller visibility.
• Track New Seller Success Rate and Churn Rate using PowerBI and internal dashboards.
• Enhance self‑service features to reduce manual support for Midtail sellers.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing seller accounts or marketplace vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team and drive performance against targets.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on data‑driven decision making.

Required skills

• PowerBI for performance monitoring and reporting.
