Named Account Manager – Public Sector (Kenya)

About the role

The Named Account Manager for the Public Sector will drive Fortinet’s cybersecurity and networking solutions across government and public‑sector organisations in Kenya. Reporting to the regional sales leadership, you will build and expand strategic relationships with senior decision‑makers to achieve enterprise‑wide deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Fortinet’s product portfolio and articulate its value proposition to public‑sector customers.
• Identify and engage C‑level contacts, uncover business drivers, and create consultative account plans.
• Execute a consultative selling approach to secure new contracts and expand existing ones.
• Collaborate with system engineers, channel managers and specialist sales teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews to demonstrate ROI and keep customers informed of product road‑maps.

Required profile

• Proven enterprise sales track record in the hi‑tech sector, preferably cybersecurity or networking.
• Demonstrated success selling to the public sector in Kenya.
• Consistent quota achievement with clear career progression.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with strong attention to detail and competitive drive.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
