NGIS General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

Amentum is seeking an NGIS General Manager to lead the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites facilities on Diego Garcia. This senior hospitality position oversees daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and alignment with Navy requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily administrative and operational activities of the hotel, including front desk, reservations, room assignments, and guest services.
• Manage inventory and supplies, coordinate procurement, and maintain accurate reservation systems.
• Supervise and develop hotel staff, schedule coverage for front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance, and conduct performance reviews.
• Prepare financial, inventory, and reservation reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience administering hotel operations, reservation systems, and inventory management.
• At least one year of college-level education in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
• Valid passport (minimum one‑year validity) and ability to obtain required visas and pass medical requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel property management and reservation systems.
• Experience using inventory tracking software.
