Non-Teaching Internship – School Counsellor (Athi River)

About the role

Nova Pioneer Athi River School is offering a three‑month non‑teaching internship for individuals interested in school counselling and student support. The internship runs from September 2026 and provides hands‑on experience in an inquiry‑based learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Model and embody the Nova Pioneer culture.
• Support functional duties within the assigned department, including daily administrative tasks.
• Plan, coordinate and execute projects under the guidance of the departmental head.
• Assist the manager and team with activity organization and project delivery.
• Collate, order, produce and distribute a variety of materials, information and communications.
• Schedule, compose and send messages as directed.
• Conduct market research and analysis when required.
• Manage pertinent information with confidentiality.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a teaching college or university.
• Strong interest in education, student wellbeing and non‑teaching school functions.
• Willingness to commit to a three‑month unpaid internship starting September 2026.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, inquiry‑based environment.
