Nursery Manager – Full Time (Thames Reach, London)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Manager to lead Thames Reach Nursery and Pre‑School in Thamesmead. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality early years education and care for children from birth to five years old, while fostering a supportive environment for staff and families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the nursery team in line with LEYF values.
• Manage nursery finances, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment and staff wellbeing.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding standards are met.
• Partner with parents and promote strong relationships.
• Maintain and enhance the quality of the curriculum.
• Contribute to the wider LEYF manager community by sharing ideas and best practices.

Required profile

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Strong team‑leadership and relationship‑building abilities.
• Level 3 or higher childcare qualification.
• Experience creating high‑quality, ratio‑bound learning environments.
• Ability to safeguard and protect children.
• Reliable, positive and friendly attitude.
