Online Teacher, AP US History

About the role

Crimson Global Academy is seeking an experienced educator to deliver live, real‑time AP US History lessons to motivated students worldwide. You will guide learners through the pivotal people, events, and ideas that shaped the United States, preparing them for the College Board AP examination.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality live AP US History lessons for a diverse, international cohort.
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive online classroom.
• Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt instruction to ensure strong learning outcomes.
• Maintain clear course schedules, lesson content outlines, and assessment timelines.
• Set meaningful homework, design and administer tests, and contribute educational materials to CGA’s resource library.
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, keeping assignments and assessments well‑organized.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of high‑school (Grades 9‑12) teaching experience in a school setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History or a related field.
• Exceptional communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology‑enabled education.
• Strong knowledge of the College Board AP US History curriculum and examinations.
