Operations Administrator

About the role

Peponi's is seeking a full-time Operations Administrator to support the smooth running of its vibrant Neapolitan-style pizza restaurant in Nairobi. The role is on-site and involves coordinating daily administrative and operational tasks to enhance efficiency and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for inventory, scheduling and vendor communications.
• Track operational metrics, prepare regular reports and suggest process improvements.
• Support front-of-house and back-of-house teams with logistical needs and basic customer service issues.
• Assist with scheduling, supplier coordination and internal inquiries.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service or retail operations administration is an advantage.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).
• Experience using document-management tools.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
