About the role

The hotel is seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to deliver warm, personalised check‑in and check‑out experiences for guests at a prestigious 5‑star boutique property in Nairobi. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent hotel school graduates or hospitality professionals eager to grow in a luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, professional demeanor and manage the full check‑in and check‑out process.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and reservations using Opera Cloud PMS.
• Process billing and point‑of‑sale transactions through Micros Symphony POS.
• Respond promptly to guest enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support the Front Office and Guest Services teams in daily operations.

Required profile

• Outgoing personality with excellent grooming and presentation standards.
• Strong communication skills; fluent English is essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced boutique hotel setting.
• Team‑player with a genuine passion for hospitality.

Required skills

• Detailed working knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS (essential).
• Detailed working knowledge of Micros Symphony POS (essential).
