Operations Site Coordinator for IRS Projects

About the role

The Operations Site Coordinator will support indoor residual spraying (IRS) activities in Busia and Siaya counties, ensuring that spray calendars and operational plans are executed effectively at designated sites.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise at least three spray teams, ensuring quality spraying and accurate data collection.
• Coordinate mobilization, spray operations, and community engagement according to site spray calendars.
• Maintain and update mobilization trackers, spray calendars, and village maps.
• Oversee property management, inventory control, and environmental compliance for IRS commodities.
• Ensure daily data synchronization, vehicle log accuracy, and proper handling of used insecticide containers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with at least 6 months supervising IRS or community‑based activities.
• Ability to work long hours, reside within the site jurisdiction, and travel using local transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using mobile data collection applications and DHIS‑2 or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of logistics management, monitoring & evaluation, and environmental compliance procedures.
