Oracle DBA – Full‑time (Multiple Locations)

About the role

Harvard Soft is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join its Database Development group. This full‑time permanent position involves developing, modifying, and maintaining Oracle databases and supporting business logic across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and tune Oracle database solutions (8i, 9i, 10G, RAC).
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures and scripts.
• Perform backup and recovery operations using RMAN.
• Monitor database performance with Quest tools and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and contribute to application design.
• Maintain database security and ensure compliance with best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience with Oracle database administration.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑location team.
