Part Time Lecturer – Valuation of Fixed Assets

About the role

Maseno University is seeking a qualified part‑time lecturer to teach the Valuation of Fixed Assets module to its accounting and finance students. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction, preparing learning materials, and assessing student performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials on fixed‑asset valuation concepts and practices.
• Prepare and grade assignments, examinations, and other assessment tools.
• Develop and update teaching resources, case studies, and practical exercises.
• Ensure compliance with the university’s educational quality control and assurance standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance (professional qualifications are an advantage).
• Relevant teaching or industry experience in fixed‑asset valuation.
• Ability to submit a complete application package including CV, academic and professional certificates, transcripts, recent pay slip, and three referee letters.
