Parts Operation-Logistics Associate

About the role

Samsung Electronics East Africa is seeking a Parts Operation‑Logistics Associate to ensure efficient parts operations, timely delivery, and high accuracy for service partners across Kenya. The role combines inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and vendor coordination to support high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound processes including purchase order allocation, tracking, back‑order handling, and shipment expediting with vendors.
• Oversee outbound activities such as delivery order processing, reverse logistics, returns, and credit notes.
• Maintain warehouse inventory levels, accuracy, and conduct stock‑takes, handling surplus, scrap, and pricing.
• Administer contracts with vendors and service centres, and share daily ETA reports with service teams.
• Handle customer order queries, advise on parts availability, and process purchase order cancellations.
• Upload proof‑of‑delivery data and respond to parts‑related emails from service partners.
• Monitor shipping documentation, track shipments with logistics partners, and liaise with finance on tax payments.
• Prepare regular reports on back‑orders, ETA, stock, excess, and scrap, and support ad‑hoc reporting needs.

Required profile

• Degree in a business‑related field; procurement or supply‑chain qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or logistics functions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across teams.
