Part‑Time Dentist

About the role

Penda Health is seeking a part‑time dentist to join its multidisciplinary team and deliver high‑quality dental care across its medical centres. The role focuses on diagnosing, treating and preventing oral health conditions while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of clinical dental procedures to restore and maintain oral health.
• Provide patient‑centered education on preventive care and oral hygiene.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and ethical dental care.
• Maintain compliance with infection‑control, regulatory and quality standards.
• Mentor junior dental staff and support their professional development.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives promoting oral health awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration and practicing license with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a dental practice.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and patient‑care abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, professional growth and patient safety.
