About the role
Tangaza University’s School of Arts and Social Sciences seeks reliable part‑time teachers for its TEFLAP programme to deliver English, Chinese or German language instruction in Nairobi.
Key responsibilities
- Teach reading, writing, speaking and listening competencies for the assigned language.
- Develop and administer exams and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Engage students effectively, using both in‑person and blended digital tools.
- Participate in marketing activities to boost enrolment in language programmes.
- Promote intercultural competence among learners.
Required profile
- Proficiency in teaching the selected language (English, Chinese or German).
- Experience in lesson planning and assessment design.
- Comfortable using digital learning platforms and technology tools.
- Strong communication skills and reliability.
- Alumni of Tangaza University are given preference.
