Part‑Time Lecturer – Principles of Accounting

About the role

Maseno University is seeking a part‑time lecturer to teach the Principles of Accounts module. The successful candidate will join the Faculty of Business and Economics and deliver high‑quality instruction to undergraduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lectures and tutorials on accounting principles.
• Prepare and grade assignments, examinations and other assessment materials.
• Maintain academic standards through quality control and assurance processes.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students.
• Collaborate with department staff on curriculum development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (professional accounting qualification is an advantage).
• Relevant academic and professional certificates and transcripts.
• Current curriculum vitae and three referee letters.
