About the role
The Quality Assurance Officer will develop and oversee a school‑wide quality assurance system that drives high educational and service standards across St. Bakhita Schools. Reporting to the Managing Director, the role provides independent, evidence‑based reports on performance, gaps and risks.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a quality assurance framework covering academics, learner welfare, administration and support services, with measurable standards and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the creation, documentation and periodic review of school policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
- Design a monitoring framework for the school’s strategic plan, track targets, milestones and indicators, and report delays or corrective actions.
- Evaluate curriculum delivery, assessment systems, learner progress and welfare arrangements, analysing trends and feedback for improvement.
- Assess administrative, operational and financial processes such as admissions, transport, catering, procurement and financial controls, recommending practical enhancements.
- Maintain a register of quality and compliance requirements, prepare for external inspections and promptly escalate safeguarding or safety concerns.
- Identify training needs from quality reviews, work with HR to deliver targeted programmes and promote continuous improvement across campuses.
- Prepare clear review reports, maintain a corrective‑action tracker and produce dashboards for senior management and the Board.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Management, Quality Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or related field.
- At least five years of experience in institutional quality assurance, compliance or performance evaluation, preferably in a multi‑campus educational setting.
- Proven experience developing policies, SOPs and evaluation frameworks and monitoring strategic plans.
- Strong understanding of school operations, academic quality and learner safeguarding.
- Excellent analytical, report‑writing and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Data analysis and management reporting tools.
