Part‑time Peer Reviewer – Aerospace Engineering (PhD)

About the role

This is a long‑term, stable part‑time position that allows you to work remotely as a peer reviewer for aerospace engineering manuscripts. The role is designed for experienced researchers with a PhD who can provide rigorous, constructive feedback to authors.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check literature reviews for completeness and relevance.
• Analyse results and conclusions to ensure they are supported by data.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback, highlighting any ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in aerospace engineering or a closely related field.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
