Part‑time PhD Peer Reviewer – Computer Science & Hardware Architecture

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Computer Science, Hardware, or related fields to join our editorial team as part‑time peer reviewers. This remote, long‑term position involves evaluating scholarly manuscripts and providing constructive feedback to uphold the quality of published research.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity and scientific soundness.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback, highlighting any ethical concerns.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science, Hardware, or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and objectivity.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
