Part‑time Remote Peer Reviewer – PhD in Industrial Engineering

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD in Industrial Engineering or a related field to join our remote peer‑review team on a long‑term, part‑time basis. You will evaluate scholarly manuscripts submitted to academic journals, ensuring high scientific standards and constructive feedback for authors.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity and relevance.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and ethical considerations.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality, objectivity, and ethical review standards.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
