About the role
AirKenya Express Ltd is seeking a Payable Accountant to manage its accounts payable function within the aviation environment. The role involves handling payment processes, performing reconciliations, and maintaining accurate payment records. The position is based onsite in Nairobi and requires a strong accounting background.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.
- Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements and maintain accurate payment records.
- Maintain high attention to detail and process discipline throughout all payment activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA(K) or ACCA qualification completed or in progress.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts payable, preferably in an aviation environment.
- Strong analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills with high integrity.
